Quality of working environment and corporate financial distress

چکیده
This study examines the impacts of quality working environment and its components on corporate financial distress. Employing a unique dataset firm-level data from 41 countries over period 2012–2018, we find that better is related to higher level soundness. Particularly, firms which have training career development policies are less likely take excessive risks. Further examination suggests tends affect risk by influencing firms’ cash holding policies.
